Approximately half of the L-shaped structure is devoted to academic uses for Johns Hopkins, while the remaining space is leased to scientific and technology-related companies that wish to partner or co-locate with the university. Features of the new building include wet labs, computer labs, meeting spaces and an expanded 1,000 square-foot campus bookstore.
