Diversified Value Add

New Boston's value-added investment strategy is guided by the firm's long term approach of emphasizing low risk and high diversification which has been the foundation of our six prior private equity real estate investment funds.

New Boston is a value buyer, not a momentum player, which means sorting through hundreds of acquisition and development opportunities each year in order to identify those properties that best meet our investment objectives and offer the best opportunity for capital appreciation.

The investment objectives of this strategy include:

  • Emphasizing capital preservation and superior risk-adjusted returns
  • Greater portfolio diversification achieved by overlaying a blend of investment strategies (core, value-added, development) on multiple property types (office, warehouse, multi-family) across several geographical markets. See our Diversification Charts.
  • Yield enhancement and capital appreciation realized through a strong vertical infrastructure, intensive due diligence, hands-on management, and disciplined asset disposition

Urban Value Add

Our urban value add strategy looks to provide a "double bottom line" return by achieving a competitive rate of return while transforming urban and economically-targeted areas. For more information, please click on Urban Strategy America Fund.
